The IA Salon recently held a scalp care workshop for customers at its premise

The programme, which was of free admission, aimed to encourage participants to exercise scalp scan checks to fully understand different scalp conditions, while educating them on suitable care treatments as well as practices for healthier scalp and hair.

Cecilia Lee, the artistic directress of IA Salon, along with her professional team, conducted the workshop.

Adam Lo, a professional stylist, also showed scanned photos of different scalp conditions.
"I decided to show participants what they might see during the scanning to help them easily understand their scalp condition and further help them differentiate a normal healthy scalp to a chemically treated one," said Adam.

IA Salon's professional hair assistant Rose demonstrated a simple comb/brush massage that promotes hair growth.

The salon team also shared about proper diets as well as the dos and don'ts in achieving a healthier scalp that in turn can result in healthy and nourished hair.
