A 29 Year Old Man Detained For Housebreaking, Theft

A local man was sentenced to jail for thr six months with two strokes of the cane after he pleaded guilty to a series of housebreaking charges for theft in the Intermediate Court yesterday.

 

 

Awangku Harni bin Pengiran Afendy broke into seven houses during the wee hours in September, October 2015 and March, June, July 2016. He stole belonging1015using

 

 

substantial loss to the house occupants, which were targeted by the defendant around Telisai, Danau and in other areas of the Tutong District.

 

 

Stolen property ranged from gadgets, money, tools to jewellery.

 

 

DPP Danial Kifrawi informed Judge Pengiran Masni binti Pengiran Bahar that all of the stolen items had been recovered, except for the jewellery.
