Technology and innovation play an integral role in pandemic ridden lives especially in expanding public services and infrastructure, which are needed by women and adolescents. The matter was among those discussed during a virtual ceremony organised by the High Commission of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony was held in conjunction with International Women's Day.

 

The online event was attended by a group of professionals from the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Brunei Darussalam. With the title, 'Break the Bias', among the matters discussed included online learning, leadership, digital literacy and mental health. Joining the event were Her Excellency Nahida Rahman Shumona, High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Brunei and Yang Berhormat Dayang Khairunnisa binti Awang Haji Ash'ari, Member of the Legislative Council.
