Two foreigners were charged in court yesterday for committing theft and the case was adjourned to make way for further police investigations into the case.

Tan Boon Kheng, 31, and Huu Yii Soon, 23, represented by defence counsel Yusuf Halim, allegedly stole Sg$10,000, pieces of jewellery, a watch, an Audi Q5 car and ATM cards from a house occupied by a foreign man at 1.30 pm on September 12.

Magistrate Pengiran Shahyzul bin Pengiran Abdul Rahman fixed the case for further mention on September 29 while the defendants were remanded at the Central Police Station in the capital.
