On 6th April 2022, a total of 761 doses of vaccine were given to children aged 5 to 11 which brings the total number of vaccinations administered to 2,664 doses which is 6 point 2 percent of children in this age group. The Minister of Health stated the matter at the Media Conference on the Latest COVID-19 Situation held yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar also shared on the coverage rate for the country's population who have received three doses of the vaccine has increased to 62 percent.

 

346 new cases were reported. Of the new cases, 320 were from ART results uploaded to the Ministry of Health's portal, while 26 were from 632 RT-PCR lab tests, taking total cases to 137,585. Meanwhile, 2 cases are in Category 5, undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit, and 2 cases are in Category 4, requiring oxygen assistance and under close monitoring. In the meantime, 523 cases have recovered, bringing total recovered cases to 134,632 with 2,739 cases remaining active. At present, 51 active cases are in hospitals, while 2,688 positive cases are on home self-isolation.
