The end of Ramadhan continued to be glorified with religious activities including Khatam Al-Quran. Kampung Sungai Besar Mosque Takmir Committee yesterday afternoon held such a ceremony at the mosque.

The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as patron of the mosque takmir committee. Joining the khatam ceremony was 40 youths and 35 Mosque Takmir Committee members. The annual event is in commemoration of Ramadhan.
