Media Conference On Latest COVID-19 Situation

269 new COVID-19 cases were reported, in which 267 were results from ART's conducted and 2 were from 217 RT-PCR laboratory tests. The total number of cases reported in Brunei Darussalam to date is 146,775. Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence stated the matter at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health, yesterday afternoon.

 

271 cases have recovered, taking the total recovered cases to 144, 943. To date, there are 1,610 active cases, whereby 11 cases are currently treated in hospitals, and 1,599 are currently undergoing home self-isolation. Meanwhile, 1 COVID-19 case has passed away, in which the case is categorised as death not due to COVID-19.
