Programme Closing Ceremony

38 people comprising youths and youth leaders received certificates of recognition after completing the third Series of the Disaster Preparedness Coordinator Training Programme. The closing ceremony and presentation of certificates took place yesterday afternoon, at the Youth Development Centre in Tanah Jambu.

 

Certificates were presented by Awang Mohd Amir Hairil bin Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Safety, Welfare and Law at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The programme organized by the National Disaster Management Centre, NDMC in collaboration with relevant Departments and Agencies aimed to accredit the participants and organisations in helping the NDMC and District Offices as the District Disaster Management Committee as well as stakeholder agencies in carrying out disaster risk mitigation activities.
