His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, received in separate audiences the Minister for Social and Family Development, Second Minister for Health and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, Republic of Singapore as well as the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam.

 The audience ceremonies took place at Istana Nurul Iman. His Majesty first received in audience His Excellency Masagos Zulkifli bin Masagos Mohamad. Accompanying His Excellency were Mr. Shaun Philip Grosse, Chargé d'Affaires, High Commission of the Republic of Singapore in Brunei Darussalam; and Mr. Kadir Maideen, Chief Executive, Islamic Religious Council of Singapore. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

During the audience ceremony, His Majesty and His Excellency discussed on enhancing bilateral relations between both countries in the fields of economic development, sports and education. His Excellency is in the country for a 3-day working visit.

His Majesty then received in audience His Excellency U Htin Lynn, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam.
