Media Conference on Latest COVID-19 Situation

83.9 per cent of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to children aged 5 to 11, while 67.5 per cent of the second dose were administered to children in the same age group. This was stated by the Minister of Health at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar stated that 71.8 per cent of the country's population have received three doses of the vaccine.

 

381 new cases were reported, in which 378 were results from ART, and 3 from 265 RT-PCR lab tests. This brings total cases in the country to 153,093. 536 cases have recovered, taking total recovered cases to 150,233. There are 2,635 active cases, in which 17 are currently treated in hospitals, and 2,618 others are currently on home self-isolation.
