His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience Her Excellency Adaljiza Magno, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, who is on a five-day visit to Brunei Darussalam.

 Joining Her Excellency at the Audience Ceremony were His Excellency José Agustinho da Silva, Minister of Transportation and Communications and His Excellency Abel Guterres, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Yang Berhormat Pengiran Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and   Infocommunications. The Audience Ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

 During the Audience Ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Excellency discussed on enhancing bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, including cooperation in the fields of economy, transportation and education as well as people-to-people and youth exchanges.
