His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni  Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses for specific endeavours for Muslims, which are religious endeavours should not be forgotten or neglected. Religious endeavours, His Majesty emphasises, are believed to be more effective in treating mental problems as it comes from Allah as guidance.

 

His Majesty stresses the matter in the Titah in conjunction with Hari Raya 'Idil Adha 1443 Hijrah/2022 which was broadcast live nationwide. In the titah, the Monarch outlines that with Allah's grace and blessings, 'Idil Adha Al-Mubarak can once again be celebrated by increasing the takbir and tahmid praising Allah. On the first day, His Majesty says, the Muslim ummah will make a move to mosques or surau or religious halls to perform the sunat 'Idil Adha prayer followed by the rites of sacrifice until the final day of Tasyriq.
