Excitement and cheer sparkled at the Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents in the Brunei Muara District when His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam visited the special tents. The opportunity to personally meet the beloved Monarch and convey Birthday greetings to His Majesty was something not to be missed.
Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brothers;
- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;
- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;
- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;
- His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah;
- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.
The involvement of people from all walks of life demonstrated the harmony, unity and close cooperation in supporting the country's Caring Monarch. The activities and involvement of various Committees played a major role in the success of the celebratory events. Senior citizens also enlivened the ceremony in expressing gratitude for the opportunity to greet His Majesty.
Associations and Non-governmental Organisations too have roles in supporting the country's aspiration to become a developed nation by 2035. Private companies have vital roles in diverse aspects, including developing and expanding the nation's economy.
The government has carried out reforms in the Educational System to produce a productive generation capable of contributing to economic growth. The tradition of closeness and rapport instilled each year was evident during the Get-together ceremony that reflected solidarity in the community.
His Majesty's presence highlighted love towards a greatly admired Monarch and the undivided loyalty of the people. His Majesty and members of the Royal Family ended the Get-Together Ceremony with a Luncheon. Doa Selamat was read by Pengiran Haji Shahril Azman bin Pengiran Haji Metussin, Syariah Subordinate Court Judge.
His Majesty's presence symbolised His Majesty's openness and closeness with the country's citizens and residents.
