Locals Deny Charges of Theft

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

A local man yesterday denied a theft charge and the Bandar Magistrate's Court ordered him to come back on October 11, 2016 after he was released on $2,000 bail, or in one local surety.

 


Mohammad Halini bin Zailini, 24, allegedly stole steel products from LSL Company Sdn Bhd's premises at Beribi Industrial area and Kilanas at 10pm on September 26, 2016.

 


Senior Magistrate Haji Nabil Daraina bin Pehin Dato Ustaz Haji Badaruddin also attached strict conditions to the defendant's bail.

 


Prosecutor Mohd QamarulAffyian bin Abdul Rahman represented the Public Prosecutor in the case.

 


Meanwhile, the Bandar Magistrate's Court also ordered a 43-year-old local woman to return to court on October 10, 2016 after releasing her on bail of $3,000, or in one local surety, after she denied a charge of theft from a residence.

 


Hajah Sudayawati binti Haji Suhaimi allegedly stole a radio, a digital audio player, an equaliser, three amplifiers, a TV, a VCD player and a receiver at 5.15pm on September 25,'2016 at a residential flat in Jalan Sungai Pandan, Kuala Belait.

 


DPP Dayangku Didi Nuraza binti Pengiran Latiff brought the case before Magistrate Dewi Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid.
