The Hijrah or Migration of Rasulullah SAW with his companions and followers from Makkatul Mukarammah to Madinatul Munawarrah has opened the greatest historical page not only in the development of the Islamic religion, but also to human civilisation as a whole. Hijrah is full of the Prophet's struggle and sacrifice which will never be forgotten by all Muslims as it is the source of inspiration for Muslim struggles throughout the ages. The matter was among the highlight of the Friday Sermon titled 'Hijrah itu perjuangan dan pengorbanan.'

In the Khutbah, the imam or prayer leader said, there are several lessons that can become examples for us. First, Allah has placed the purity of Islam and belief above all. Second, Hijrah has portrayed the beauty of Rasullullah Shallallahu Alaihi Wassalam's character, namely his fortitude in facing hardships and difficulties. Third, no compromise in matters that are related to belief. Fourth, the prophet's love for his home land and lastly, loyal, honest and sincere friends should be sought when facing challenges or dangerous situations.
