A 36-year old man was read a charge of auto theft but no plea was taken from him by the Bandar Magistrate's Court whilst fixing the case for further mention on October 1, 2016.

Jimmy Lakai is alleged to have stolen a car from a residence at Kampong Sungai Orok, Jalan Masjid Salambigar at 3am on September 23, 2016.

Magistrate Dewi Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid ordered the defendant remanded at the Central Police Station while the police complete their investigations.

DPP Azmeena binti Mohiddin represented the Public Prosecutor.
