Applications for Trade Fairs Transferred to EIDPMO Effective From Oct 1

The Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister's Office (EIDPMO) said that the applications for Trade Fairs under Section 2 Category (n) of the Public Entertainment Act (Chapter 181) have been transferred. from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism to the Department of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office.

 


The transition is effective from October 1, 2016, according to a press release.

 


For the information of the public, trade fairs with performances, advertisement or sale of industry products in Section 2 Category (n) of the Public Entertainment Act (Chapter 181) includes: local and international trade expos, shows/ roadshows related to trade (eg automobiles, real estate and travel fair) garage sale / car boot sale, wedding fairs and many more.

 


Any licence application to organise the above listed events shall be made by completing the Application Form for Public Entertainment Act (Chapter 181), which can be directly downloaded from the EIDPMO website at www.ei.gov.bn/pengga1181 and returned to the Expo and Trade Fair (ETF) Committee of the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister's Office via e-mail: [email protected] bn.
