​Teachers and educators is a very important and responsible group in delivering, teaching, imparting and empowering students and community with various knowledge towards becoming a knowledgeable, successful and virtuous individual. Therefore, teachers need to be respected and appreciated for their services and sacrifices. The matter was among the content of the Friday Sermon titled 'GURU BERKUALITI PEMACU TRANSFORMASI PENDIDIKAN.'

The Imam or Prayer Leader said that the teachers and educators noble deeds in imparting knowledge to their students will gain a continuous rewards or Pahala from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. Brunei Darussalam celebrates Teachers' Day on every 23rd September. The celebration is a high recognition to the country's teachers and educators for their contribution in the development of society and nation.
