​Every licensed Tour Guide plays an important role and duty in ensuring that the information to be conveyed is accurate and easy to understand. Through competent and professional services, this will certainly be able to further improve the quality of services provided. In this regard, a Certificate Presentation Ceremony for the 11th Tour Guide Basic Course was held yesterday afternoon at Dewan Setia Pahlawan, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.

Certificates were presented by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Awang Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. 9 individuals received their certificates after passing the theoretical and practical examinations. Since its introduction in 2016, 201 tour guides registered at the Tourism Development Department have participated in the course which was jointly conducted by the Tourism Development Department and Laksamana College of Business.
