A Bangladeshi man was found guilty under Section 15 1 of Immigration Act Chapter 17 for overstaying in the country after his Immigration Pass expired.

Yusuf, aged 38 was sentenced to 5 months imprisonment and 3 strokes of the cane. The sentence was effective from 17 November 2022.
