111 students of the Youth Tilawah Al-Quran Scheme, STAR were feted at a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the Scheme's Silver Jubilee celebration. Organized by the Department of Islamic Studies through the Advanced Education Division, the ceremony coincided with the Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony and Certificates Presentation for Year 2 Students. The ceremony took place on 27th November morning, at Pengiran Anak Puteri Masna Religious School.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony was a sign of gratitude and to commemorate and recall the establishment of the Youth Tilawah Al-Quran Scheme since 1997.
