​A car workshop was issued a compound for violating the regulations under the Section 12 of the Miscellaneous Offences Act Chapter 30(1)(c).

 The Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office issued a compound fine of $500 to Yeo Motor Workshop in Sri Aman Complex, Tutong Town for spilling car oil into the drain. The workshop was given 7 days to settle the compound fine.

If fail to settle the fine, can be sentenced to not less than $1,000 and not more than $3,000, for the first offence, while for the second or subsequent offence, a fine of not less than $3,000 and not more than $9,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months.
