His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah strongly encourages Al-Qur'an and religious guidance programmes implemented for students studying abroad, so that they will continue to be adorned with faith and piety.

In the titah at the Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who are in the United Kingdom and Eire, His Majesty reiterated the reminder for students to always be sensitive in maintaining the Bruneian identity with the Malay Islamic Monarchy mould. In the titah, His Majesty likened the ceremony as being very meaningful because it reflects the close solidarity among His Majesty's citizens and residents, wherever they may be, especially after the world's struggle with the coronavirus pandemic. His Majesty expresses gratefulness for being able to meet and find out the developments, benefits and well-being of His Majesty's subjects, especially the students who are studying in the United Kingdom and Eire.
