People in the country are hoped to be actively involved, especially animal lovers, to help and provide awareness to protect and rescue abandoned animals. Sharing ideas and discussing ways to overcome the problem openly will be able to provide awareness and encourage the public to lend a helping hand and have more empathy in rescuing the animals.
Paws Up, a centre that has been operating for three years, since last year until this year alone, more than 500 abandoned animals have successfully rescued. The centre emphasizes to the community to be kind to stray animals and not move them in strange places where there is no source of food.
Be kind to all creatures regardless of whether they are stray animals or pets is our shared responsibility. By creating awareness programmes can open opportunities for animal lovers to become a hero to save abandoned animals.
