His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia.

The Audience Ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman. Accompanying Yang Berhormat were Yang Berbahagia Dato' Sri Amran bin Mohamed Zin, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia; and His Excellency Raja Dato' Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs. This is the first visit to Brunei Darussalam by Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir as Foreign Minister of Malaysia.

During the Audience Ceremony, His Majesty and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia discussed on bilateral relations in general between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, preparations for the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to Brunei, as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
