His Majesty Audience Ceremony

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that the Annual Leaders' Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia is vital in maintaining the commitment in implementing the Exchange of Letters Agreement which enables both countries to enjoy a more special and strategic relation. His Majesty welcomes the joint initiatives towards revitalising economic growth of various fields including the signing of MoU in the field of investment.
His Majesty made the titah at the Official Luncheon in honour of Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and spouse, Yang Amat Berbahagia Dato' Seri Doctor Wan Azizah Doctor Wan Ismail, who were in Brunei Darussalam on a two-day Official Visit. Earlier, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam received in audience Yang Amat Berhormat the Prime Minister of Malaysia and spouse. The Audience Ceremony took place yesterday morning at Cheradi Laila Kencana, Istana Nurul Iman.
Prior to the Audience Ceremony, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri welcomed Yang Amat Berhormat the Prime Minister of Malaysia and spouse on arrival at the grounds of Istana Nurul Iman, and subsequently introduced Yang Amat Berhormat and spouse to members of the Royal Family.
Also present were members of the Royal Family.
Also in attendance, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as Minister-in-Attendance, and Datin.
