50 officials and government employees who are about to retire visited two local companies in Tutong District yesterday morning. The visit conducted by the Civil Service Institute is part of a programme to prepare civil servants before retirement.

The group had the opportunity to take a closer look at the cracker making process by Syarikat Hairol Aminah in Kampung Penabai, Kuala Tutong and the production of chocolate products and handicraft produced by Dayang Hajah Sauyah binti Haji Mahmud at the Lakaba Jaya Gallery, Kampung Sengkarai Tutong. Through this programme, the group who are about to finish their duties as civil servants are hoped to prepare and do something useful for themselves after retirement.
