His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that the country truly desires a leadership model with a Bruneian character of being honest, trustworthy, pious, brave, loyal and professional.

Based on such a leadership model, His Majesty emphasises that the selection screening for future Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF officers will be more refined. In the titah at the Sovereign's Parade of the 21st Intake, Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, RBAF, His Majesty underscored 64 officer cadets comprising 45 men and 19 women have successfully completed the 48 week officer cadet training.
