Locals Theft Case Adjourned

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

The Magistrate's Court yesterday adjourned a theft case involving two local men to November 1, 2016 for the police to conduct further investigations into the case.

 

Nineteen-year-old Abdul Malik Fazil bin Mohammad allegedly stole a television set at a house in Perumahan Kampong Perintis, Jalan Pedaun, Kampong Peramu, Kampong Ayer sometime between 12 am on August 4 and 8.12am on August 15 this year.

 

Eighteen-year-old Muhd Sumardey bin Haji Abdullah is accused of simultaneously stealing two gas stoves. He is a neighbour of the victim. Abdul Malik Fazil is also alleged to have smashed a car window at the parking area of Sungai Lampai Fire Station at 6pm on October 17, 2016.

 

Magistrate Dewi Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid presided over the case.

 

DPP Aiman Zakaria appeared for the Public Prosecutor.
