KPL (KPL) Laos-China Railway will launch the first cross-border train between Vientiane of Laos and Kunming of China's Yunnan on April 13.

 

(KPL) Laos-China Railway will launch the first cross-border train between Vientiane of Laos and Kunming of China's Yunnan on April 13.

 

The launch of the passenger train service was confirmed at a meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith and Mr Wang Ning, Secretary of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee in Vientiane on Mar 30.

 

At the meeting, the two sides highly valued the friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

 

Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation in various fields thus bringing greater benefits two peoples of both sides.

 

They also  discussed possible areas of cooperation for the years to come especially on infrastructure development, the resumption of Laos-China highway.
