​The Prime Minister's Office held a Doa Selamat Ceremony for five officers and staff who will performing the Haj this year. The ceremony was held at the Prime Minister's Office.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by the presentation of donations. The ceremony aims to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for the intending haj pilgrims' protection, safety and good health while in the Holy Land.
