​Three Pre-University students of the Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan departed for Jakarta, Indonesia on 28th May morning, to join the 2nd ASEAN-Italy Youth Conference, AIYC. The conference organised by the Global Action, Italy with the cooperation of the ASEAN Secretariat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, ASEAN members states and several international partners will take place from the 29th until 31st of this month.

Present at the Brunei International Airport was Pengiran Ali Shafie bin Pengiran Haji Abas, Acting Assistant Director of Department of Schools. Among the goals of AIYC is for the youth in ASEAN countries and Italy to discuss and try to deal with important issues involving the current youth. Two main themes will be discussed during the conference namely Youth Empowerment and Digitization and Climate Change and Food security.
