​The Voting and Selection of Penghulu Mukim Seria in Belait District ended on 28th May afternoon, with the vote count at the District Office Hall, Mukim Seria.

Awang Mohammad Zairul Halfi bin Talip, aged 43, was the sole candidate for the position. 228 residents in Mukim Seria voted, and of the figure, 221 voted for, 6 against and one invalid. There were also 44 votes via the e-Undi PMKK. Among those present, Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer. Also in attendance, Member of the Legislative Council.
