​The Voting and Selection of a Village Head for Kampung Lambak Kiri, Mukim Berakas 'A' was held on 28th May morning, at the Lambak Kiri Secondary School.

The position was created for the village for the very first time. Previously, Kampung Lambak Kiri was under the purview of the village head of STKRJ Lambak Kiri and surrounding areas. The sole candidate for the position is 37-year old Awangku Amirnur Aminuddin bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Salleh. Present, Awang Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim, Brunei Muara District Officer. Also present was Member of the Legislative Council.
