R. Korea Ambassador Bids Farewell to Vice President

VIENTIANE, LAOS
The Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to Laos, Mr Kim Soo Gwon on April 5 paid a courtesy call to Vice President Bounnhang Vorachit to bid farewell to the latter on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in the Lao PDR.
At the amicable talks, Mr Bounnhang praised the Korean Ambassador for his diplomatic contribution to strengthening the relations and co-operation between the Lao PDR and the Republic of Korea.
Mr Bounnhang Vorachit also wished Ambassador Kim Soo Gwon a safe home trip and success in his new task.
He also expressed appreciation to the Republic of Korea for the support and assistance it has provided to the Lao PDR through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), especially for human resource development purposes.
The outgoing ambassador expressed gratitude to Mr Bounnhang Vorachit and Lao officials at all levels for providing him the support and cooperation necessary for him to fulfil his diplomatic duty in Laos.
