​Hijrah or migration requires us to make sacrifices in order to carry out the commandments of Allah Subhanahu Wa'taala, because hijrah itself is a change that requires sacrifice. The sermon emphasised that change is life's requirements from something that is not good to one that is good and from that which is good to that which is better, from mazmumah or despicable to mahmudah or praiseworthy attributes. The Friday Sermon, titled 'Melakukan Perubahan Melalui Hijrah' or "Making Changes Through Hijrah".

According to the Imam or Prayer Leader, as we step up into the 1445 Hijrah New Year, let us increase efforts in endearing ourselves to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. We broaden the mind, fill the soul with religious knowledge, persist and continue to be pious and to rely on Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala so that we can repel all the evil elements that try to disrupt our faith. Let's purify the heart and soul by abandoning all things forbidden by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and His Messenger.
