By the command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa' adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it is hereby announced by the Yang Di-Pertua Adat Istiadat Negara that insya-Allah by the will of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will hold a Royal Wedding Ceremony for His Majesty's son, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah and Yang Mulia Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam.

The events for the Royal Wedding Ceremony will commence with the Majlis Istiadat Bersuruh Diraja which will be held on Sunday, 25th Jamadilakhir, 1445 corresponding to 7th January, 2024 and followed by ceremonies namely:

- Majlis Istiadat Membuka Gendang Jaga-Jaga on Monday, 26th Jamadilakhir, 1445 corresponding to 8th of January, 2024.

- Majlis Istiadat Menghantar Tanda Diraja dan Pertunangan Diraja, and Majlis Istiadat Menerima Tanda Diraja dan Pertunangan Diraja on Tuesday, 27th Jamadilakhir, 1445 corresponding to 9th of January, 2024.

- Majlis Istiadat Berbedak Pengantin Diraja on Wednesday evening, 29th of Jamadilakhir, 1445 corresponding to 10th of January, 2024.

 - Majlis Istiadat Akad Nikah Diraja on Thursday, 29th of Jamadilakhir, 1445 corresponding to 11th of January, 2024.

 - Majlis Istiadat Bersanding Pengantin Diraja and the Royal Procession around Bandar Seri Begawan on Sunday, 2nd of Rejab, 1445 corresponding to 14th of January, 2024.

 - Majlis Persantapan Diraja on Monday evening, 4th of Rejab, 1445 corresponding to 15th of January, 2024.

 - And, Majlis Istiadat Membaca Doa Selamat dan Menutup Gendang Jaga-Jaga will held on Tuesday, 4th of Rejab, 1445 corresponding to 16th of January, 2024.
