His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum​ Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah says that the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB has the potential in producing teachers who not only teach in Islamic Studies, but also other general subjects. In a titah at the 13th Convocation Ceremony of KUPU SB, 10th October morning, His Majesty expresses confidence that KUPU SB can also play a role in guiding on how to provide the correct understanding to the younger generation on the use of social media, and at the same time on mosque management. In the titah, His Majesty reminds that the knowledge and experience gained by the graduates are trusts to be practised and disseminated to the society.

​His Majesty in the titah points out that nowadays, the country has found that society in general has been affected by various social issues, an effect from misuse of social media.

In the titah, His Majesty is pleased as KUPU SB has started to arrange for its students to take part in Leadership and Mosque Glorification programme.

​His Majesty ends the titah by supplicating for KUPU SB to always be on the correct platform.​
