​An individual was fined $100 by the Department Of Environment, Parks and Recreation, JASTRe for offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act, 2021.

Haji Mohd Junie @ Haji Awang Johari Bin Ali Basa was found guilty of littering in the Kampung Sungai Kebun area. The offender is given seven days from the date the compound is issued to pay the fine.

If the individual fails to settle the fine, they will be produced in court in default. If found guilty, they will be fined not less than $1,000 and not exceeding $3,000 for the first offence, and a fine of not less than $3,000 and not exceeding $9,000 as well as imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both for the second and subsequent offences.
