​UBD 'A' Group from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD emerged champion of the Final of the Brunei Darussalam Inter-Higher Educational Institution Poetry Festival. The competition was held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

Second place was won by UNISSA B Group from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA. Meanwhile, Dayang Anis Elyana binti Anuar was announced as the best poetry presenter. Prizes were presented by His Excellency Raja Dato' Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Malaysian High Commissioner to the country. The poetry festival conducted by UNISSA and the Language and Literature Bureau aimed to bring out the undergraduates' talents which can be developed to national and international levels.
