​His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman received in audience His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of the Republic of Singapore, and spouse, Madam Loo. The Audience Ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezan. Also present was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik.

Accompanying His Excellency were:

- His Excellency Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security;

- Her Excellency Indranee Thurai Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development;

- His Excellency Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Manpower;

- His Excellency Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information and Ministry of National Development;

- His Excellency Doctor Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and Ministry of Manpower;

- And His Excellency Laurence Bay Siow Hon, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of the Republic of Singapore and spouse as well as delegation are in Brunei Darussalam to attend the 9th Young Leaders' Programme, which is held from 12th to 14th December 2023.

- Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs;

- Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development;

- Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office;

- And Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.

At the Audience Ceremony His Royal Highness and His Excellency reaffirmed the commitment of both countries in further advancing the Young Leaders' Programme, as well as touched on the continued strong bilateral cooperation between both countries, particularly in the areas of defence and security, civil service and capacity building through people-to-people exchanges. His Royal Highness and His Excellency also acknowledged that Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore's diplomatic relations, has gone strength to strength which will reach 40 years in 2024. After the Audience Ceremony, His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness, together with His Excellency and spouse as well as delegation attended a Luncheon.
