KUALA LUMPUR

Tun Daim Zainuddin, has arrived at the court complex here on Monday (Jan 29) to face charges related to the disclosure of assets.

The wheelchair-bound Daim, who was wearing a face mask and dark blazer over a light blue shirt, arrived at 8.40am.

Looking calm, the 85-year-old was seen accompanied by family members before entering the court lobby.

It is learnt that Daim will be slapped with two charges under Section 36(2) of the MACC Act pertaining to the disclosure of assets.

The former finance minister said his lawyers had been informed that he would be facing the charges.

“So be it. I look forward to my day in court,” he said in a statement on Saturday (Jan 27).
