Nippon Shokken Halal Teriyaki Sauce Introduced to Brunei Market

Looking at the potential growth in Halal market, Nippon Shokken, the leader in liquid seasonings in Japan has introduced its first Halal certified Teriyaki Sauce to the Brunei market after forging partnership with Syarikat Aliaa Sdn Bhd as its main distributor.

 


A mini cooking demonstration using the Halal Teriyaki Sauce was held at the Supa Save Beribi where Sho Kawaida, Assistant Sales Manager from Singapore Branch of Nippon Shokken, and Eddie Lu, the General Manager of Syarikat Aliaa was in attendance to oversee the demo.

 


In an interview with the Media, Sho said, "We want to deliver the authentic Japanese taste to everyone. We feel that there is a huge halal market so the company managed to obtain Halal Certificate fro, Malaysia's Jakim for our Teriyaki Sauce.Meanwhile, for next month and next year, we plan to add more Halal products"

 

On th reason of choosing Teriyaki sauce to be certified as Halal, he explained "After surveying the market, we found that Teriyaki Sauce is the bestseller. Teriyaki taste is also acceptable globally in the western countries as well as this part of the world."

 


The Singapore branch of Nippon Shokken is in charge of Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia market, the Teriyaki Sauce has already been well-received in Malaysia and Indonesia.

 

The Teriyaki Sauce will be widely available in supermarkets nationwide as well as to be used in food outlets and restaurants.

 

On the possibility of collaboration with Brunei's Halal certification in future, he said, "It is possible to work with. Brunei to make sure of Brunei Halal for the future


After its establishment in 1971, the company has continued to deliverb blended seasonings produced using authentic Japanese techniques to the world.
