​Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 40 years ago, the Republic of Singapore and Brunei Darussalam have and are deepening relations through private and personal friendship between the government, associations and communities. In fact, both countries continue to be committed to strengthening the relationship through various fields.

In an interview with RTB News, His Excellency Doctor Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister For Education And Second Minister For Foreign Affairs Of The Republic Of Singapore said that the official visit of the President of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam at the beginning of this year symbolises the highest level of importance given to the relationship between the two countries.

His Excellency Doctor Mohamad Maliki also touched on the experience of celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri in the country.
