A local artist's touch that combine Bruneian culture and identity can raise the nation's name as well as culture in the international arts. This was proven when the arts produced not only managed to attract local buyers, but also those from overseas.

Awang Anwar bin Haji Minggas fully utilised his talents and has produced over 200 portraits. Awang Anwar took art seriously since 2001, and has gained various experiences through participating in poster-making competitions.

Apart from generating income through art commissions, Awang Anwar also teaches art to those who are interested. His art genre revolves around portraits and those with Bruneian values and characteristics.
