Brunei's traditional cakes are famous for their unique appeal, in terms of taste, colour, shape, smell and sweetness which certainly captivates the hearts of its fans. In an effort to preserve the heritage of traditional cakes from being lost to time, one of the traditional cake entrepreneurs from Kampung Panchor Dulit, Tutong District diversified 'kuih lenggang' into Rose Lenggang.

'Kuih Lenggang' which is known to be green in colour filled with grated coconut. According to Dayang Erna Eny Listya Dewi, she has diversified the cake by using a mixture of colours and with a “Rose" flower shape. The idea came when making an order for wedding gifts.

Starting her business 8 years ago, Dayang Erna urges young generation to be able to learn the making of these traditional cakes so that they can be preserved and passed down for generations.
