An Iban family chose Islam as their new faith and recited the Islamic Oath at a conversion ceremony on 19th April afternoon, at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Dakwah Unit Office in Belait District.

63-year-old Dayang Inu Anak Klmabu is now known as Nurul Ainah binti Abdullah, while Uda Anak Kilau, aged 43, chose the name Muhammad Syafiq Uda bin Abdullah Kilau, and 24-year-old Maxwell Anak Injak is now known as Muhammad Imran bin Abdullah Injak. Present was Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer. To date, 35 people in Belait District have embraced Islam.
