20 members of the Brunei Darussalam Medical Service were appointed as Medical Haj Pilgrim Affairs Officers who will accompany the intending country's haj pilgrims for 1445/2024.

As an early measure to take care of the health of intending pilgrims before leaving for the Holy Land, a Health Briefing for Intending Country's Haj Pilgrims was held on 10th May morning. Organised by the Department of Haj Affairs in collaboration with the Haj Medical Services Unit, Ministry of Health, the briefing took place at the BRIDEX Conference Hall, Jerudong.

The "General Health Briefing" among others explained about the process and procedures for the services that will be provided to intending Haj pilgrims while in the Holy Land. Meanwhile, the "Female's Health Briefing" provided intending pilgrims the opportunity to get information and advice about diseases or health problems that are often encountered, including those related to female Haj pilgrims during the Haj.
