​Pilgrimage is one of the pillars of Islam. It is obligatory for Muslims who are able and meet the capacity to do it. It was among those touched upon in the Friday Sermon, titled 'Ibadah Haji: Satu Pengorbanan' or 'The Pilgrimage: A Sacrifice'. Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala obligates any religious act to His servants, which certainly has wisdom and rewards. So is the the Pilgrimage.

According to the Imam or Prayer Leader, among the wisdom of Hajj, among others, a common direction in elevating the glory of Islam, joining hands in upholding Allah's religion, establishing close relationships within the Muslim community and building a spirit of brotherhood and love. It is fortunate for those who can perform the hajj, especially for those who will perform the Hajj this year.
