SMSSA Feted Best Students Who Completed Pre-Vocational Programmes

KG SUNGAI OROK, BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School (SMSSA) yesterday awarded its best students who completed pre-vocational programmes in 2015 at a prize and certificate presentation ceremony held at the school's Salambigar Hall.

 

The prizes and certificates were presented by the guest of honour Cikgu Umar bin Haji Ramlee, Principal of SMSSA.

 

Fifteen students achieved nine 'O' Levels; eight achieved eight 'O' Levels; and one received the 'progressive student' recognition for the Brunei Cambridge GCE 'O' Level 2015 examinations; 15 students were awarded for best performance in the Students Progress Examination (SPE) 2015; and three students were awarded for completing the pre-vocational programme.

 

The event began with the national anthem and school anthem, followed by a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat.

 

The guest of honour then presented a speech followed by a video slideshow and the prize and certificate presentation.

 

The event concluded with a group photo session of the award recipients with the guest of honour. Also present were parents of the award recipients.
